Who processes your payment, what shows up on your statement, how recurring billing works, and where to get help.
Supporter bought in the app is processed by the store you're on — the Apple App Store on iOS, and Google Play once the Android app is available — under their billing and their rules.
Supporter bought on the web is sold by Theme Park AG through our own checkout: RevenueCat runs it and Stripe processes the payment. Your card details stay with Stripe; we never see them.
Founding contributions (the campaign closes at 23:59 on 30 September 2026, Zurich time) were processed through Open Collective, with the payment handled by Stripe and recorded on a public, transparent ledger. In every case Theme Park AG (Zurich, Switzerland) is the operator of DudesChat.
A web subscription shows THEME PARK AG. An in‑app subscription shows the Apple or Google billing descriptor (such as APPLE.COM/BILL or Google * DudesChat), per their billing. A founding contribution shows an Open Collective / Stripe descriptor.
Supporter renews automatically at the end of each period — one month, three months or one year — at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. The price, interval and renewal date are shown to you before you confirm. On the web we email you a reminder before a yearly renewal; in a store, Apple or Google manage the renewal per their rules.
Founding contributions (Early Bird, Pioneer, Patron, Founder) are one‑time payments in CHF through Open Collective — nothing recurs.

Prices include any applicable taxes, such as VAT. On the web you pay in your own currency where our checkout offers it, and in US dollars where it doesn't; in the App Store you pay the store's price for your country. The amount is always shown before you confirm your purchase.
