Our community turned 24 this year — old enough to know better, too stubborn to quit.
The community turned 24 this year. Old enough to know better, too stubborn to quit. We started in 2002, back when "meeting someone online" still needed air quotes, and we've watched every trend since come and go — most of them badly.
The world moved onto the phone years ago. We didn't, not properly. You've been pinch-zooming a website built for a desktop monitor, and frankly, you deserve better. So we're building DudesChat: a real app, built from scratch, for Dudes who like Dudes — gay, bi, curious, whatever the label.
A daylight door to the same community. Profiles, chat, browse, who's-around — all the good stuff, in your pocket, fast. It's the place you already know, made easy to actually use on the device you actually carry.
It's also pants on. The body shots, the cam rooms, the spicier rest of it stays next door at DudesNude. DudesChat is the version you can open at brunch without explaining yourself.
This is the important half. We've watched other platforms turn into the same grey soup:
We've run this community for two decades. We know what you came here for, and it isn't any of that.
We're building this with the door open on purpose — surveys, posts like this one, the cover photo competition. Your feedback has already made it better, and we'll keep pulling back the curtain as it takes shape.
More soon. Same Dudes. Pants on.
Nearly 2,000 of you answered our app survey. Here's what you told us — and exactly how we're building DudesChat around your feedback.
